Starting in January 2018, American English Webinars will be broadcast via Facebook Live on the American English for Educators Facebook page, using the Zoom platform with a Webinar Add-on. The next series will take place from January 17 – March 28, 2018. The times offered will remain the same – 8 am and 1 pm ET. Two events will be related to the AE E-Teacher MOOC launch: Integrating Critical Thinking into the Exploration of Culture.

The number of viewers will be unlimited, so there is a possibility for teachers to register and watch the webinars individually, you can share the registration link with all your interested contacts. You and I will continue to offer e-certificates for our respective group viewers. For individuals who attend the Facebook Live events, digital badges will be issued. Participants will need to complete a series of questions related to the Facebook Live event and open only for 30 minutes after each webinar. These questions will ask participants to demonstrate understanding of the topic presented. Participants will then receive a digital badge automatically.
